The Global Alumni Conference of Peking University was grandly held at the Wuhan Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by the Peking University Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Affairs, and organized by the Hubei Peking University Alumni Association, this conference brought together leaders from 123 alumni associations around the world and various departments of Peking University. It has achieved six "firsts", including the first time the Global Alumni Forum of Peking University was held in Hubei Province, the first time the president of Peking University held talks with the main leaders of Hubei Province and Wuhan City, the first time Peking University alumni collectively signed an agreement to settle in Wuhan, the first time a symposium for Peking University's selected students was held in Hubei Province, and the first time many leaders of Peking University gathered in Wuhan.
